Payment Terms

50% of the hire fee is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable 28 days before the reserved date. If the booking is made within 28 days of the date reserved, the total hire fee is payable.

Cancellation

If the booking is cancelled more than six weeks before the reserved date, 50% of the booking fee will be refunded. No refunds will be given later than six weeks before the reserved date. No cancellation for bad weather. If river or weather conditions prevent the boat from sailing, no refund will be given but there will be an opportunity to re-book at a later date.

 

Terms and Conditions

The maximum number of passengers permitted on board is 12 + skipper. Children under the age of 15 by arrangement only. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Dogs by arrangement only. Assistance dogs are allowed. Please wear non-slip shoes. High heels are strictly forbidden. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate wheelchairs.

 

During the charter period the vessel shall remain under the complete control of the skipper. The hirer shall be responsible for the conduct of the passengers on board, and when embarking and disembarking. At the end of the charter period it is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that guests collect all their personal belongings from the boat. We do not accept responsibility for any items left aboard.

 

We request that you treat the boat with the utmost care when on board. The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the craft if caused by their or their guests’ negligence. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks aboard. Please take your own rubbish away with you.

 

Boat charters are subject to river and weather conditions being satisfactory at the time of sailing. If sailing is prevented from taking place due to strong stream or wind conditions, force majeure or forced business closure due to regional or national restrictions, or any condition beyond our control, no refund will be given but there will be an opportunity for a credit to re-book at a later date.
