CRUISE THE RIVER THAMES IN STYLE ON A PRIVATE CHARTER BOAT
Parties, special occasions or just a relaxing day out.
Skippered cruises on the motor yacht, Kyamanzi for up to 12 guests
KYAMANZI
Kyamanzi was built in 1987. by the Dutch yacht builders, Pedro. They still make a version of this boat today. Her first owner sailed the Mediterranean in her before selling her to someone who lived by the Thames. Owner and skipper, Felix Raitt had his eye on Kyamanzi for several years before he finally succeeded in persuading the owner to sell. The boat was somewhat the worse for wear but now, after careful restoration, she is as good as new.

WHERE CAN I GO?
Cruising on the River Thames is much more about the journey than the destination. It’s a great day out whichever way you go.
Kyamanzi sails from The Anglers, Walton-on-Thames KT12 2PF 9HX. There is street parking available
Sailing Upriver we pass under the new Walton bridge and into greener and leafier parts of the river. We pass D’Oyly Carte Island and go through Shepperton lock as far as Penton Hook.
Sailing downriver, we go through Sunbury lock, past Platt’s Eyot with its historic WW2 boathouse to Hampton where we pass Garrick’s Temple and the Edwardian houseboat, Astoria, now used as a recording studio. Then we pass Hampton Court Palace and the surrounding park before we reach Kingston and finally Teddington lock where the Thames becomes tidal.
